On August 5, 2024, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) concluded its Financial Literacy Ideathon, a key event in its Financial Literacy Week 2024 campaign. This initiative was specifically designed for postgraduate students and centred around the theme, "Money Matters for Young Adults: Rethinking Outreach Strategies". The aim of the Ideathon was to generate innovative ideas to enhance financial literacy among young adults.
The event saw impressive participation with a total of 256 entries submitted. Following a comprehensive and rigorous screening process, the RBI is pleased to announce the winners of the Ideathon:
1st Position: Shri Gautam Singh R.D.S. from B.R. Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur
2nd Position: Ms. Siddhi Bala from the Acharya Institute of Distance and Open Learning, University of Mumbai
3rd Position: Shri Ishan Dixit from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee
