Revised Standard Operating Procedure dated 3rd January, 2021 would now be fully operational in NCLAT


National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) referred to its earlier Notice No. 112/2021 dated 24th May 2021. The Notice under reference was issued by the Hon’ble Competent Authority, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi at a time when precarious conditions created by the Covid-19 situation were there. The situation with regard to the Covid-19 has now materially improved and the second wave has almost subsided. In view of the same, partial temporary relaxation in the Revised Standard Operating Procedure with regard to the filing of Hard-Copies as given in the Notice No. 112/2021 dated 24th May 2021 is withdrawn with immediate effect.


The Revised Standard Operating Procedure dated 3rd January 2021, would now be fully operational.


Learned Advocates/ Authorised Representatives/ Parties-in-person who have e-filed the Appeal/ Interlocutory Application/ Reply/ Rejoinderetc. giving an undertaking in terms of Notice dated 24th May 2021 are now required to honour Undertakings and file Hard-copies of the Appeal/Interlocutory Application/Reply/Rejoinder, etc. as per the procedure prescribed under the NCLAT Rules, 2016.


The Hard-Copies may be filed within 15 days of the issue of this Notice. If the Hard-Copies are not filed, the Registry will bring the same to the notice of the Hon’ble Bench concerned for suitable directions.
