IBBI in association with IBA organises “Prepackaged insolvency resolution process for MSMEs"


Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in association with Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) organises Webinar on “Prepackaged insolvency resolution process for MSMEs" on 9 June 2021.


The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 has been promulgated on 4 April, 2021, introducing prepackaged insolvency resolution process for corporate persons classified as micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME). It aims to provide an efficient alternative insolvency resolution process for MSME sector, ensuring quicker, cost effective and value maximizing outcomes for all stakeholders, in a manner which is least disruptive to the continuity of their businesses and which preserves jobs.


Eminent policy makers, bankers and insolvency professionals will discuss the rationale, implications and implementation of the provisions of the framework as also address the issues raised by the participants.


This webinar is intended for top management and senior level officers (DGM and above) of Scheduled Commercial Banks, who are primary decision makers under the framework.
