In exercise of the powers conferred by section 184 of the Finance Act, 2017 (7of 2017), the Central Government makes the rules further to amend the Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal and other Authorities (Qualifications, Experience and other Conditions of Service of Members) Rules, 2020.
These rules may be called the Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal and other Authorities (Qualifications, Experience and other Conditions of Service of Members) (Amendment) Rules, 2021. It covers the following Tribunals and Authorities:
Industrial Tribunal under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947)
Income-tax Appellate Tribunal under the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961)
The Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal under the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962)
Appellate Tribunal under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976 (13 of 1976)
Central Administrative Tribunal under the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985 (13 of 1985).
Railway Claims Tribunal under the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987 (54 of 1987)
Securities Appellate Tribunal under the Securities Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992)
Debts Recovery Tribunal under the Recovery of Debts Due to Banks and Financial Institutions Act, 1993 (51 of 1993)
